NotesThe Truman Bulldog football preseason scrimmage will take place at 7:15 p.m., Aug. 24, at Stokes Stadium. Everyone is invited to get a sneak preview of the team.Ekklesia, the student group affiliated with Kirksville’s Filmore Street Church of Christ, will sponsor several outreach events to kick off the new school year. At 7 p.m., Aug. 28, a devotional and mixer will be held in the Down Under (SUB). At 4 p.m., Aug. 29, the group will sponsor a cookout and pontoon boat rides at Thousand Hills State Park. A mixer and devotional will take place at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 30, in Red Barn Park. Watermelon will be served at this event. All new and returning Truman students are welcome. Divisions and departments that have available institutional, work study or scholarship hour positions may publicize them at the University Career Center. Job descriptions and open positions may be sent to the UCC via campus mail, by fax (785.4366) or phone (785.4353). New and returning students may find an up-to-date listing of available positions on the UCC job board at the McKinney Center. Attention students: if your permanent address is on record as Kirksville, then Dean’s List announcements will be sent out to Kirksville media. If you want announcements to go to your home town newspaper, then you need to notify the Registrar’s office that you want your home town address listed as your permanent address. Truman’s athletic web site will now be located at gobulldogs.truman.eduand is the primary source for fans who are looking for updated information, including rosters, news releases, schedules and statistics, on each Bulldog team. Truman faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in
KTRM’s Guest DJ Show which airs Sunday evenings during the fall semester.
